	Three Rivers Explorer Scout Unit, for 14-18 year olds, meets at 1st Braintree HQ on a Monday evening. There are a number of other Explorer Scout Units in the District:      ● Three Rivers (Monday evenings: meet at 1st Braintree HQ)      ● Rayne (Monday evenings: meet at Rayne Scout HQ)      ● Fury (Wednesday evenings: meet at Christchurch, London Road)      ● Legend (Friday evenings: meet at Coggeshall Scout HQ) As well as these Units, Explorer Scouts can take young leader positions helping out with the young sections (Beavers, Cubs and Scouts). Full training is given and this type of work can go towards various Scout and other awards. As well as working towards Platinum and Diamond Chief Scout's Awards and the Queen's Scout Award, Explorer Scouts can take part in the Duke of Edinburgh's Award Scheme.
